My inspo this week is, of course, all things love and valentines!
I have always been a bit indifferent to V-day. It has never been one of those annual things that I love and look forward to (most of the time I forget all about it until someone asks about my plans for the day!) but I've never been a V-day hater.
One of my absolute favourite things about the day was my mum's valentines treats!
She would always get us some valentines sweets like love hearts or those things where you dip the sweet stick into the sherbet and - my favourite part - a mars bar crispy heart with our names written on it that she made herself! And let me just say, my mum makes the best treats and her mars bar crispies are a party favourite! I definitely think it's the little things that are the sweetest gestures and make the best memories!
Anyhoo, I am absolutely loving this colour blocking look! It's a colour combo I initially wouldn't think to put together but it is so gorge and would be the perfect look for a date night or night out with the gals! I for sure want to be a bit more daring with my colour combos like this when it comes to my outfits this year and try to push myself out of my usual fashion comfort zones! I am also just loving this make up look on Kendall J - that lip colour…perfection! I mean, it's not too bold and completely romantic and she is just rockin' it!
Other bits I am loving this week are cute romantic typography that I just want to put all over my house, adorable simplistic urban home decor and PARIS!! I have been before and didn't quite fall in love with it like most people do but I am feeling a huge pull to go there and really explore it properly so hopefully that will happen at some point this year!
Oh and this song is gonna be on repeat all day.
